Great attendance at Asian Market session

More than 50 members attended the third FGC/NZTE Export Speaker Session of the year in August, entitled ‘Developing and Succeeding in the Asian Market’.
Matt Andrew from EY, who has been based in Singapore for 25 years, opened the session by presenting key facts about the predicted growth of the Asian markets, highlighting where he saw the opportunities for New Zealand businesses.
NZTE East Asia Regional Director Shaun Conroy talked about how companies can best partner with agents or distributors to optimise the relationship.
The final speaker was Matt Whittaker who spoke about Whittaker’s Chocolate’s export story – their approach to markets, brand investment and product quality, and answered many questions.
