Registrations open for Beverage Council Conference

Registrations are open for the NZ Beverage Conference, which will be held on 25 October.

It is being run by the NZ Beverage Council and Sensient Technologies NZ and will be held at Kelliher Estate on Puketutu Island in the Manukau Harbour.

This is one of the highlights of the non-alcohol beverage sector’s calendar.  Speakers include New Zealand's Chef de Mission at Commonwealth and Olympic Games from 2002-12, Dave Currie, and Saunders Unsworth lobbyist Mark Unsworth.

Other highlights include:

  • The Great Water Debate. A panel discussion on the politics and debate around the future of New Zealand’s freshwater.
  • A discussion exploring the pros and cons of a container deposit scheme and how to increase recycling rates and reducing waste.
  • An interactive session with regulators on the continuing evolvement of New Zealand’s food and environmental regulations.
