WASTE MINIMISATION FUND UPDATE
The FGC would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Ministry for the Environment are hosting the following workshops to inform potential applicants of the Waste Minimisation Fund and in particular, how to apply for some of the fund. We understand that the contestable fund is predicted to be as much as $15 million so encourage our members to get involved.
Applications open on 1 December 2009 and close on 1 March 2010.
Workshops will be held in the following locations in early December:

3 December 2009 9.30am- 12pm Auckland
4 December 2009 9.30am- 12pm Taupo
8 December 2009 9.30am- 12pm Christchurch
9 December 2009 9.30am- 12pm Wellington
9 December 2009 9.30am- 12pm Queenstown
Morning tea will be provided during the workshop, but lunch will not be provided.
(Please note locations may be subject to change depending on interest received, a minimum of 20 participants is required.)
To attend any of the five workshops, please RSVP to wmf@mfe.govt.nz , subject line: RSVP – Location name (i.e. Auckland/Taupo/Christchurch/Wellington/Queenstown). Please specify any special access requirements in your email.
