FGC Event: Doing better business with The Warehouse

PowFGC is to host The Warehouse CEO Mark Powell to talk exclusively to FGC members in an event entitled ‘Doing Better Business with The Warehouse’. It’s an opportunity to hear from Mark Powell about his ambition for the Red Sheds and his expectations from suppliers, and as such we anticipate it will sell quickly, so we suggest you get in early. About Mark Powell: He migrated permanently from South Wales when he joined The Warehouse Group in 2002. He had worked in mining management and then management roles in the UK, Canada and Spain, including responsibility for Wal-Mart Canada’s logistics operations, supply chain and home shopping management for UK supermarket chain Iceland plc, and the logistics operations of Tesco. At The Warehouse Group he has been Interim CEO of Australian operations, Group General Manager Supply Chain and Merchandise Planning, and CEO of Warehouse Stationery. Recently, Warehouse Stationery received the prestigious JRA Award as New Zealand’s best large company to work for, as judged by employees. Mark has Bachelor degrees in Mining Engineering and Theology, and Master’s degrees in Logistics and Business
